Privacy policy

The short version: your height, weight, state, and insurance answers are used to calculate one result and are not stored, not logged, and never attached to the links you click through to our partners.

Effective 2026-09-07

01Who we are

This policy describes how River De (“we”), operator of https://myqualifycheck.com, handles information. Questions or requests: contact@myqualifycheck.com.

02What the eligibility check collects

The eligibility check asks for four things: your height, your weight, your US state, and whether you have medical insurance. It does not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, or any identifier, and it works without an account.

When you submit the check, those four values are sent to our server, used to compute your BMI and eligibility tier, and returned to your browser in the response. They are not written to a database, not written to application logs, and not retained after the request completes.

We do not sell, rent, or share your health-related answers with advertisers, data brokers, or partner providers. In particular, the tracking parameter attached to outbound partner links contains only your traffic source, your state, and a coarse eligibility tier — it never contains your height, weight, BMI, or insurance status.

That last point is deliberate. Passing body measurements or insurance status to a third-party network in a tracking URL is a practice regulators have penalized, and we do not do it.

03What we collect automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure processes standard technical request data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages requested — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This data is retained for a limited period by our hosting provider and is not combined with your eligibility answers.

[PLACEHOLDER — declare your actual stack.] We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, A/B testing, or a consent-management platform. The site sets no first- or third-party advertising cookies. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future — one that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information — we will name it here and update the effective date above before it goes live.

04Cookies and similar technologies

We use your browser's session storage to remember which campaign or link brought you to the site, so that a referral is attributed correctly if you move between pages. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.

[PLACEHOLDER] Beyond the session storage described above, the site sets no cookies — no first-party analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers. Because we set no non-essential cookies and the site is intended for US residents, no cookie-consent banner is presented. If this changes, we will update this section and add a consent mechanism where one is legally required.

05When you click through to a partner

Sponsored links take you to a third-party provider's own website. Once you leave our site, that provider — not us — controls what they collect, and their privacy policy governs. We pass along only the tracking parameter described in §2. Anything you then enter on their site, including health information, is between you and them.

We receive aggregate reporting from affiliate networks (for example, how many referrals converted). We do not receive your identity, your intake answers, or your medical records from partners.

06Your rights

Because we do not store your eligibility answers or maintain user accounts, there is generally no personal profile for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, write to contact@myqualifycheck.com and we will respond.

California residents. The CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. You may exercise your rights, including through an authorized agent, at the contact above, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act apply to businesses that are not HIPAA-covered entities and treat inferences about a person's health as protected consumer health data. Our practice of computing your result without storing it, and of excluding health values from outbound tracking, is designed for that standard. Outside the US. This site is intended for US residents. If you access it from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, note that processing occurs in the United States.

07Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact contact@myqualifycheck.com.

08Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the eligibility check is processed without persistence, which is the strongest privacy control available: data that is never stored cannot be breached. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Changes to this policy

If we change how information is handled, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes — especially any change to §2 — will be announced on the site before they take effect.
