MedCheck is an educational tool that estimates your body mass index, summarizes publicly available FDA drug shortage data, and explains the screening criteria that telehealth weight-management programs commonly use. We call the output an eligibility snapshot because that is what it is: a summary of whether your answers line up with published screening thresholds.

River De is not a medical practice, a pharmacy, a telehealth provider, or an insurer. We do not employ clinicians who review your answers, we do not prescribe or dispense medication, and we do not recommend specific drugs.

Using this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship, a pharmacist–patient relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and River De.

Body mass index is a crude screening estimate calculated from height and weight alone. It does not measure body composition, fitness, metabolic health, or risk for any individual person. It is known to misclassify muscular people, older adults, and some ethnic groups.

Our tiers reflect the BMI thresholds that telehealth programs commonly publish (roughly BMI 30 and above, or 27 and above with a weight-related condition). Those are screening conventions, not rules that bind any provider, and providers apply many additional criteria we do not ask about — medical history, current medications, pregnancy, personal and family history of certain cancers and thyroid conditions, and more.

Shortage status shown on this site comes from the FDA's public drug shortage database. Two limits matter:

It is national, not local. The FDA reports shortages for the US market as a whole and does not publish state-by-state or pharmacy-by-pharmacy supply data. Stock at your pharmacy may differ in either direction from the national picture.

It can lag. We refresh from the FDA daily and show the date of the FDA's most recent update on each page, but the underlying database reflects manufacturer reporting and is not real-time inventory.

River De participates in affiliate programs. When you click a link marked as sponsored and then sign up with a partner, we may receive a commission. You never pay more because you arrived through us.

Where this matters most is honesty about incentives, so here is how we handle it:

• Sponsored links are labeled as sponsored at the point of the link, not only on this page.
• Screening thresholds and shortage status are taken from public FDA and clinical sources. Commission rates do not change them.
• When your answers fall below the thresholds providers screen for, the tool shows no partner referral at all. We would rather show nothing than send someone to a program they are unlikely to qualify for.
